REBELLING AGAINST THE SYSTEM

Jeremiah said, "The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick" (17:9). With that description, you can imagine what the heart is capable of desiring. Delighting in what the world offers will only temporarily satisfy those desires and will sicken your heart even more. But if you delight in the Lord, your desires will change.
The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion (Prov 28:1)

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).
