Carolyn is married to Jonny and lives in Co Down, N.Ireland. They have 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. She first encountered Freedom In Christ in 2000 when she spotted a loaned copy of Neil Anderson's Bondage Breaker on a family coffee table. She promptly borrowed it, read it, and practically re-wrote the whole book as she made notes, so impactful was it!

That led to all sorts of adventures with Jesus, becoming more passionate about going deeper into His heart and joining Him in journeys around the globe through leadership roles in Freedom In Christ UK and the International ministry, in Northern Ireland, then Australia, Europe, the Middle East and is currently serving the International Ministry as the Equipping Director and TRANSFORM, as well as the UK Ministry as our Regional Leader in Northern Ireland.

She’s looking forward to seeing how God shapes up FIC in N.Ireland, connecting with the whole of Ireland in this new season, starting with developing a Prayer40 team and seeking God for opportunities to engage with leaders as they together encounter God's heart in their personal transformation journeys and see nations transformed.

In her spare (!) time, Carolyn loves breakfast/brunch and coffee dates with family and friends, reading, walking, learning new rhythms of rest including retreats at the family caravan on the shores of Co.Down…and adventures further afield when possible!
