UNDER THE SAME YOKE

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light (Matthew 11:28-30).

Daily Devotional:

ALL THINGS

All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted (Mark 11:24).

If God wants it done, can it be done? Yes! "All things are possible to him who believes" (Mark 9:23). If God wants me to do it, can I do it? Of course! 'I can do all things through Him who strengthens me' (Philippians 4:13).

OUR DEFENCE AGAINST SATAN

The devil does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature for he is a liar, and the father of lies (John 8:44).

Satan's power is in the lie. He has no power over you except what you given him when you believe his lies. You break his power when you expose the lie. Scripture says, 'We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one' (1 John 5:19).

Daily Devotional:

APPEARANCE, PERFORMANCE AND STATUS

Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him (Psalm 103:13).

If you seek your identity or sense of worth in the temporal values of this world instead of in Christ, your family can become a threat to your pursuits in the following three ways.

Daily Devotional:

ONE FEAR-OBJECT

It is the LORD of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, and He shall be your dread (Isaiah 8:13).

A severe storm hit the East Coast, and the Coast Guard was summoned to respond to a ship in crisis. A young sailor, new on board, was terrorized by the prospect and proclaimed, "We can't go out. We'll never come back!" The seasoned captain responded, "We must go out. We don't have to come back." Duty called and responsibility overcame fear.

Daily Devotional:

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF LEADERSHIP

Shepherd the flock of God among you . . . not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God (1 Peter 5:2).

Our ability to speak with authority stems from the same source as was true of Jesus Himself. The authority Jesus possessed was not based on any earthly position, but in the quality, conduct and character of His life.

Daily Devotional:

OUR CHILDREN, SATAN'S TARGETS

These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your sons (Deuteronomy 6:6,7).

Christian children and teenagers populating our schools, attending our churches, and living in our homes are the targets of Satan's strategy. Many Christian young people hear voices as if a subconscious self is talking to them. Satan seeks to destroy our families and churches by seducing our children away from their parents and from God (1 Timothy 4:1).

Daily Devotional:

AN INTACT BELIEF SYSTEM

In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Jesus Christ, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following (1 Timothy 4:6).
