Dave Park's Visit Establishes New Youth Team
We were really blessed last month when Dave & Grace Park visited us.
Perhaps the most amazing thing is that, although the events were aimed at Christians, we saw 15 people make first time commitments to Christ! We also saw 35 people hear and respond to a call to full-time Christian work. Wow!
The churches who hosted us did a great job. Ian & Sue Lindsay from Bayston Hill (one of the host churches) even managed to get Dave on the radio. Turns out that he used to be a radio presenter so he did an excellent interview.
Our main objective was to establish a team of people who can take this excellent material and take it to churches throughout the country. To this end we arranged two days of intensive training which were excellent. Dave is a superb communicator and he was bursting with enthusiasm to pass on his experience to us. From among the motley crew pictured right will be drawn four or five people who feel a call to teach others.
