Problems loging In
When you are asked to sign in for the first time, the system will ask you to enter your first name, this is NOT your username or password, it is simply your first name that the system uses for display purposes only.
Type in your first name and press the 'Go' button (not return/enter on your keyboard) and you will be taken to the login page for all password protected areas on the website. Click the link for the area you are trying to login to, and you will be prompted to enter your username and password.
If you have problems logging into any of the password protected members areas, please try the steps below before contacting us:
1) Delete all temporary internet files and cache files (if you are able).
2) Do not copy and paste the username and password into the login window. Type them in exactly as seen in the e-mail sent to you.
3) Make sure you have 'Caplocks' switched off. Although the sign-in page is not case sensitive, some browsers have been known to cancel a sign-in if caplocks is activated.
4) Make sure you have 'Cookies' activated in your browser. With 'Accept cookies' switched off in your browser, log-in can fail (please see the relevent help files for your browser in order to activate Accept cookies).
5) If your are using a web browser like Netscape or Mozilla, try using one of the other free browsers like Safari or Firefox.
All the main web browsers are compatible with our log-in procedure. If you are still having problems with your browser please see your browser's company website below for more help.
FICM has tested many of the browsers. All are able to log in.
