City Church is a very active, community minded, charismatic church in an area of Belfast known appropriately as the Holylands. They run regular discipleship courses based on FIC principles. Being practically next door to the university, some of these courses are especially for students. Comments from participants include, “I’ve found the course challenging. It’s opened my eyes to reality” and “We are children of God – this knowledge impacts our view of self and others. God is so good!”

It is committed to equipping other churches in Northern Ireland. According to Pastor Mark Houston, “We have found the FIC approach revolutionary – it’s thoroughly biblical and highly effective. I’m delighted to have the opportunity to share it with my colleagues in Northern Ireland.” The City Church team regularly travels around Northern Ireland to help other leaders get started.
