Dissociative Identity Disorder

You may feel confused and frightened by your symptoms or by the things you have learnt about DID. You may have been told that it will take years for your recovery to be complete. You may be appalled by the things your alters do or say, or by your unpleasant memories. But God has not only equipped you with an amazing coping mechanism, you have been blessed with all the tools you need to learn new ways of living as a whole person.

As you and your alters understand the truth about who you really are your sense of self will change. You will recognise and choose to turn your back on all those harmful lies that you are unclean or guilty or shameful etc, and be able to enjoy the truth that you are loved and accepted and completely clean in Him. When that happens your alters will no longer need to remain separate and you can become whole if you choose. With some commitment on your part and support from your friends there is great hope for you, and a very exciting time ahead.
