A chance to get some great teaching and be at the filming of a brand new Freedom In Christ resource....

All leaders want to be the best they can be. But the truth is that you can read as many "how to" books as you like and still not be a truly effective leader. People don't follow leaders who use the right techniques. They follow leaders who are authentic and real.

Christian leaders have a huge advantage over others because they have become new creations in Christ. You know that already, of course, but in this retreat you will be surprised as you are helped to take the truths of this new identity much deeper so that you can learn to lead as the new person in Christ that you are.

Identity-based leadership helps to free us from drivenness and burnout, enables us to survive personal attacks and use conflict positively and enables us to overcome other barriers to effective leadership.

The content has been put together by Rev Dr. Rod Woods, senior pastor at City Temple, London, and a Trustee of Freedom In Christ Ministries. Rod speaks from personal experience of leadership in 3 churches on both sides of the Atlantic and has experienced practically how identity-based leadership enabled him not only to survive prolonged conflict but turn it around completely to growth.

The event will start at 9am on Tuesday 4th August and will finish by 6.00pm on Wednesday 5th August. Please arrive on time as once the filming has started we can't interrupt!

Delegate cost: £50

This includes a light lunch each day and refreshments. You will need to make your own arrangements for an evening meal and accomodation on Tuesday night.

IMPORTANT! This event will be filmed for later broadcast and for the production of a DVD-based course to be published in November by Monarch. This means that you are likely to appear on camera as a member of the audience. We will send out in advance an agreement for you to sign to permit us to use any footage taken of you. Please note that we will not be able to permit you to come into the event if you have not signed the agreement.

The nature of filming means that this event will be subject to pauses, retakes and other filming-related occurrences so timings for the day are necessarily approximate – please be prepared for it to take a little longer than advertised. We have reduced the price accordingly but please do not sign up for this event unless you are excited about being part of the filming process!
