Freedom In Christ Ministries is a company limited by guarantee (ie a not-for-profit organisation) number 3984116 and a registered charity (number 1082555). It is a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
It was established in the UK in May 2000 and is funded entirely through donations and proceeds from resource sales and conferences.
Ultimate responsibility for the ministry lies in the hands of its Trustees: Mike Benford (Chair), Revd Rod Woods, Pete Costello and Revd Brian Nicholson.
Executive responsibility is taken by Steve Goss, Executive Director.

We have a place on the board of Freedom In Christ Ministries International which overseas FICM's offices around the world. FICM was founded in the USA by Dr Neil Anderson in 1989. Click here for details of other offices around the world.
Purpose
Our purpose is to teach, train and resource the church to make disciples so that it can advance Christ’s kingdom more effectively. Our driving motivation is the conviction that the UK church could be revolutionised if enough individual Christians understood better how to walk in the freedom that Christ has won for them.
We are a resource ministry available to all denominations and groupings within the Christian Church.
We have at our disposal a well-proven and highly effective approach to discipleship (developed by Dr. Neil Anderson) that enables Christians to make significant progress towards maturity by resolving spiritual conflicts and understanding who they are in Christ. Books by Neil Anderson have sold over 4 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 30 languages.
We are an enabling ministry. That means that we love to “give away” our methodology. Our primary emphasis is on equipping and enabling Christian leaders to set up a “freedom ministry” in their own setting.
We do not seek to control how Christian leaders implement our methodology but we do produce helpful guidelines and do all we can to encourage best practice.
